Our Commitment
Nexplant is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including those with disabilities. We strive to make nexplant.com usable and accessible to everyone, and we continuously work to improve the experience for users of assistive technology.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced by Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the California Unruh Civil Rights Act, and Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act.
Built-In Accessibility Features
This site includes a built-in accessibility menu, available via the floating button in the bottom-right corner of every page. The menu lets you adjust:
- Text size — choose between standard, large, and extra-large text.
- High contrast mode — high-contrast color theme for low vision.
- Underline links — underline every link for clearer visual identification.
- Reduce motion — disable animations and transitions.
- Readable font — switch to a higher-legibility font for users with dyslexia or low vision.
Your preferences are saved on your device and applied automatically on future visits.
Standards We Follow
In the design and development of this site, we follow these principles:
- Semantic HTML — pages are built with proper headings, landmarks, and ARIA attributes for screen-reader compatibility.
- Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators.
- Color contrast — text and interactive elements meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and UI components).
- Alternative text — all meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked appropriately.
- Skip links — a skip-to-content link is available at the top of every page for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Reduced motion — users who set
prefers-reduced-motionin their operating system have animations automatically disabled. - Form accessibility — every form field has an associated label, and validation errors are announced clearly.
- Responsive layouts — pages adapt to mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports, including users who zoom up to 200%.
Known Limitations
We continually audit and improve the site, but no website is ever “complete” in its accessibility journey. If you encounter content that doesn’t meet your needs, we want to hear about it. Some areas where we’re still improving:
- Older PDF documents (such as our product catalog) are being remediated for full screen-reader compatibility. In the meantime, we’re happy to provide an accessible version on request.
- Some third-party embedded content may not yet meet our standards.
Reporting Accessibility Barriers
If you have trouble using any part of nexplant.com, or if there’s content you can’t access, please let us know. We’ll do our best to provide the information in an accessible format and to fix the underlying issue.
- Email: accessibility@nexplant.com
- Phone: 855-500-3466
When reporting a barrier, it helps if you include:
- The URL of the page where you encountered the issue
- The browser and assistive technology you’re using (if any)
- A description of what happened
We aim to respond within 5 business days.
Compliance with California Law
This site is designed to comply with the accessibility requirements of the California Unruh Civil Rights Act, which incorporates the federal Americans with Disabilities Act. If you believe you have been denied access to goods or services because of a disability, please contact us at the address above.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time project. We test the site regularly with automated tools, manual keyboard testing, and screen readers, and we incorporate feedback from real users.
